| You kind of confirmed my own fears regarding Midler and her Dolly. I really wanted to see "Hello Dolly" not "Hello Bette" , and my impression was I would be seeing the latter if I saw it with Midler. I did see it with Peters and found her wonderfully warm and moving in the role. I wonder how warm and moving Bette could be? When I think of Midler, warmth is not the first word that comes to mind. I am glad I saw Peters. |
