When Harry Belafonte won his Tony for JOHN MURRAY ANDERSONSON'S ALMANAC, his understudy was Larry Kert. Belafaonte was 2nd black Tony winner(1St was Juanita
Hall)we're a long way from an all white broadway(praise g-d). |
