It's weird - I played it on my TV last night, through the Amazon Fire Stick, and it was totally fine.
It was great to be reminded of how much George Wolfe went for the comedy in that production - it's almost a Neil Simon play in these clips. It was also interesting to see how the performers had relaxed into their roles by the time they got to "Perestroika"; there's a softness present that they hadn't yet found at the start of the run. |
