| I guess we were all wrong in assuning Bette would do every show, July 22 and 29, as well August 5, 12, 19, and 20 will be Donna Murphy. I am not sure if these dates have already been on sale but I imagine they would make sure people wouldn't expect to see Bette and not have her perform. | |

| The Murphy fans certainly adored her performance. The formula worked. Another six chances, when we thought the show was only playing 7 shows a week? Good news. | |

| The rest of the cast and crew are paid the same for 7 or 8 performances. So that Sunday performance probably brings in $100k and Donna probably gets $5-10k. So the rest is profit minus the standard percentages. |

| Yes, just yesterday. New Bette tickets went on sale a month ago. It seems reasonable to guess that those six performances didn't go on sale a month ago, so nobody bought them thinking they'd see Bette. They've been through all this before, they know how to handle it. For the original run, they didn't sell Tuesdays until they'd announced Donna as Tuesday Dolly. |
