The Gate is the second theatre of Dublin and produces a wide range of classics (they were the ones doing ASSASSINS, I think).
There are also a number of smaller companies, some without permanent homes, around town, especially in the Temple Bar neighbourhood.
And Druid has, of course, brought many a show stateside, including the original BEAUTY QUEEN OF LEENANE, the Atlantic Theatre revival of THE CRIPPLE OF INSIHMAAN and the vast DRUID SYNGE Festival (which I think played Lincoln Center a few years ago?).
