| The network morning news shows are more frequent promoters of Broadway shows and news. The cable news programs rarely mention theater. That is rather sad since their programs usually consist of constant repetition of the tweets of # 45 or confusing statements from his attorneys or sometimes ambien fueled rants of now former sitcom stars in racially charged meltdowns. Such an event as the opening of an all gay (seminal according to Jesse on this board) production of "The Boys in the Band" on the eve of Gay Pride month would seem to be made for a segment on one of these shows but it hasn't happened yet. Perhaps later in June if the political theater slows down. | |
