| When I have gone standby I have often gotten seats far from the stage. Is it better to show up close to curtain? Is the standby line still at the usual place at 7:30? | |

| Yes, same place. There were about 80 people on line ahead of us when we got there at 7:45 last night. We all got tickets and the couple behind us got tickets too. I'm guessing the entire line got to see the show last night. | |

| I truly find it to be an absolute crap shoot where you get to sit. It depends to a large degree on the number of corporate donor seats that go unfilled near curtain time. I always do standby, and I've been all over the house--often far back or to the side, but also front-row center for the all-female "Taming of the Shrew" and a few rows back for Meryl Streep in "Mother Courage." | |
