| Told by more than one producer that they would rather performer a number on the Tony awards from inside the shows theatre- rather than on the Tony stage! I think Hello, Dolly! asked to do this last year and Disney just did it with performances from Frozen on ABC The View and ABC Good Morning America. I must admit, watching Let It Go from the stage of the St. James theatre was much more thrilling on TV than watching a performance from the morning shows set. Maybe it’s time to focus on the millions watching the Tony awards from home and not the few thousands at the award show. What do you think? Cheers Rob |

| 1. There is no "dish" in what you wrote. 2. Of course some producers would prefer doing it in their theatre. It would save them money that they could then spend on feeding you bullshit that you regurgitate without filter. 3. Not gonna happen. 4. For the single annual TV celebration of live theatre to NOT have the performances before the live audience would be disgraceful. |

| So how do you know it's not gonna happen this time? It's hardly disgraceful. | |

| It's been done many times. The numbers aren't always live from the award show's theater. Who said anything about cool? | |

| It has, in the past, but especially in light of the Rudin turndown of 2017, it won't be again anytime soon. You said it wasn't disgraceful, which I took to mean you were cool with it, a notion seemingly confirmed by your response. |

| It's like comparing Macy's (Thanksgiving) Parade coverage on CBS and NBC Did catch the FROZEN tie-in with Whoopi and THE VIEW Don't recall a "hit" Broadway Show broadcasting an entire musical number "live" from a Broadway Theatre and inviting an entire studio audience to attend (twice) guess Disney is writing it off as Tony campaigning and branding for future national tours. Rudin should buy a spot on the Tonys for Betty Buckley to debut her Dolly Levi and have fellow Tony winners Midler,Murphy,Peters join her as chorus dollys beam in via Skype Carol Channing and Jerry Herman for a fab finale |

| If I recall correctly, NBC's Broadway performances are held in the street in front of Macy's (usually during the 9-10 a.m. hour). Whereas CBS' performances have been broadcast from the show's theater or pretaped somewhere else. Speaking of the Tonys, the 2001 revival of ''42nd St.'' started at its own theater and tapped their way onto the street, via subway, and then to Radio City. |

| Had Scott Rudin had a better relationship with the tony producers, he probably could have worked out a deal somewhat similar last year with "Put On Your Sunday Clothes" and a horse drawn carriage. | |
