Told by more than one producer that they would rather performer a number on the Tony awards from inside the shows theatre- rather than on the Tony stage!
I think Hello, Dolly! asked to do this last year and Disney just did it with performances from Frozen on ABC The View and ABC Good Morning America.
I must admit, watching Let It Go from the stage of the St. James theatre was much more thrilling on TV than watching a performance from the morning shows set.
Maybe it’s time to focus on the millions watching the Tony awards from home and not the few thousands at the award show.
