| OK, now I get it. I totally misinterpreted your post and answered it without putting any real thought into it. All I'm saying is the celebrity appearances are unannounced, casual, and usually brief -- nothing like what you would see on Fallon or Colbert. There is no performance. Sometimes the guys like Hanks or Tveit actually look kind of grubby. Maybe this is all put-on -- it doesn't seem to be scripted. The last time Hanks was on, he went around putting a mustache on everyone's coffee cup. I do not pretend to know how the show is actually put together -- I was just posting my impressions. |
