I'm seeing it tomorrow. I wasn't going to go, but I heard Wuorinen interviewed a couple weeks ago (along with Daniel Okulitch and Glenn Seven Allen), and I liked what he had to say.

The Tenor was the only who one we could understand most of the lyrics from. Soprano none. We were seated in the last row of the loge. Cheaper tickets because sub-titles not visible from there. Thought we wouldn't need them. Boy were we wrong. Knew the film so could follow the story which the music had nothing to do with. A total disappointment.
