| Saw it this afternoon and really enjoyed it (it started late after a set malfunction) It's written by Anthony Giardina who did the great City of Conversation a few seasons back. Stars the wonderful Rick Holmes, who was the best thing about Junk last season( why wasn't he nominated for a Tony?) and so satisfying to see him FINALLY get a starring part, after shining in so many supporting parts for so long. He plays a charmingly corrupt hedge fund manager who offers a poor teacher a path to enrich her 17 year old daughter's life and enter the world of the elite. Will she be enticed? ...The whole cast was outstanding under Doug Hughes' direction. Really entertaining and thought provoking and bravo to Mr Giardina for giving Mr Holmes such a brilliant part as he did for Jan Maxwell in City! |
