| This charming musical has moved from the York Theatre Company to a larger theater at New Work Stages and it works beautifully there. Most of the delightful cast has returned. This is a funny and clever adaptation of Measure for Measure and I hope it finds an audience in its new home. This is my second time seeing it and I highly recommend it. I spoke to James Morgan after the show and he said the musical has been recorded. | |

| I assume this is the same recording Seth Christenfeld mentioned here some time ago -- most likely with the York cast. Do you know if they've found a label yet to distribute it? Jay Records perhaps? I loved the York Theatre production. |

| I knew I recently saw John Yap at the York, but that was at Unexpected Joy, which he is recording. The Desperate Measures recording was produced by Robert Sher, and he even gave a talk on it. I don't think a label has been announced. |

| Just kidding. JAY's releases of York production recordings seem to happen comparatively quickly - not compared to Ghostlight or Broadway Records, but not like some other JAY recordings. | |

| I think Jay released Rothschild and Sons about a year after the York production closed. Hopefully, we will see the Desperate Measures CD by the end of 2018 or at worst mid-2019. Of course, I'm glad Jay is continuing to release these recordings. There is tremendous risk involved and even when successful, the profit is small. | |
