| I have loved her work for decades. Her performance in "Little Children" might've secured an Oscar nomination (many thought it would). I remember her singing as far back as "Over Here." (Listen to her on the recording; her smoky voice was among the most distinctive in a helluva company.) But she also stood by for Kathy Bates in "Night, Mother," which many forget, and played it elsewhere. She's a wonderful actor. |
