| Yes, you're probably right, but I knew what the OP meant so I decided to use the same word to avoid confusion. Actually the word ghost does have less common meanings like "trace" and "secondary image" so I felt my ass was covered. For the Carrie Pipperidge actresses I wanted to list those who actually were in Broadway revivals or the '56 film and, of course, Moser, Stanley, and Mason (happily) are still with us. For the Hamlet and Medea choices, I selected actors who were certifyingly ghosts in the most commonly used meaning. |
