Mee's a pretty interesting playwright, imo.
I was involved in the workshopping of a sort of Mee musical a few years back - a sort of Mee meets Gershwin thing. Everyone was truly wonderful to work with (Mee was not directly involved, just lending his material, so I didn't get to meet him), but I confess I absolutely despised the project itself. Just not my kind of theatre, in any way. Probably not the best way to be introduced to Mee's writing, lol. But so it goes... |
