| My main frustration with it was that it was there at all, given that the show wasn't nominated for Best Musical. There were plenty of big entertainment moments in the broadcast and this song wasn't needed for that purpose. And, when we have actual awards being presented off-camera before the broadcast and actual winners being cut off for time, the inclusion of fluff segments like this (and the backstage outros by Rachel Bloom) is just appalling. |
