It's the end, after the story has been told.
Well, you know, one of my favorite little "extras" in a show is the curtain call for She Loves Me, when the cast comes out and sings an expanded version of the "Thank you, madam" song the clerks do in the shop. But I would never recommend that as a number for the Tonys lol, charming as it is in context. I'd say the same for "Time Of Your Life" from American Idiot - fun in the context of the show, but I think it would make relatively boring TV out of that context.
I don't know the show, but there had to be something they could have done that showed more of that "fun party" and "the energy of the disco era." That number wasn't it. |
