| This is what I found really irritating with Sonia Friedman for her Best Play speech. She has been to enough Tony ceremonies that she knows the rules (I think this is her 9th or 10th Tony), but she nevertheless went on so long that of course Jack Thorne wasn't going to be able to speak. I thought it was completely predictable that he was going to be cut off. And she and Colin Callendar (the other producer) basically made it happen. |
