The Morrow book in '66 (and thereafter) cites both the playwright and the the producer in the category wording, e.g., (in 1966): Outstanding Play / Inadmissable Evidence / by John Osborne. Produced by The David Merrick Arts Foundation.

Regarding sourcing, the Morrow book reads: All categories, citations, and nominees are listed as printed in each year's award ceremony program.

Of course, there is no guarantee that the Morrow book is correct in every single detail for every single category in every single year. I have noticed what I assume to be printing errors on pages 224 and 246. However, considering the shocking inaccuracy of all other available books and websites that contain comprehensive listings, I pretty much rely on the Morrow book for the years, 1947 through 1987.
