I think people who need a song for a particular purpose or situation (whether the kids singing at the Tonys or a TV commercial) find what suits them. There are plenty, as evidenced by the myriad of songs that have been used in the way this one was.
Why does there need to be a recent alternative? My point was simply that Seasons of Love is hardly new, which was what you had called it. |
