| It's also worth noting that neither of those songs have a particularly strong (if any) dramatic context in the show they are from. "You'll Never Walk Alone" is an inspiring anthem of facing hardship, but while it may be sparked by a dramatic moment, nothing in the song is specific to that dramatic moment. And "Seasons of Love" doesn't event have a dramatic moment - it's just a song about life and living that has meaning because of who is singing it, rather than the story that it's telling. That's a huge reason why both songs are able to be all-weather anthems. |
