| Totally agree, Chromolume. These comments from someone who claims to love theater shows that he or she clearly has no idea of what theater can and should do. His or her comments about the children, their studies, theatrical activities, preparation and hopes and dreams are what can bring them to Broadway. How does he or she think Broadway performers get here? And even if they do not get to Broadway, theater is not Broadway. It can and does enlighten and bring joy to folks all over the world. Those Parkland kids deserved to be on that stage at that moment, and the fact that the wanted to be there and to share their art and feelings is something to be applauded and encouraged. |
