| In any other presidential administration in my lifetime I'd agree with you. However, we have a POTUS who USED THE C WORD at a previous correspondence dinner speaking to Katie Couric, (remember that? huh?), just to add to the already long list of profanities he's caught on tape spouting, you, who probably voted for him and will defend until the end, don't have a leg to stand on. He needs his fame feeding it with the constant tweets/faux interviews on that propaganda network so his name is mentioned/voice heard daily resulting in a form of abuse on those of us who don't like what he's doing and what can I say, we're all pissed off! If Kathy Griffin, Samantha B, De Niro had asked me should they say and do some 'things', I'd of advised them to re think and use different words it but it's been done and they wont be silenced. Getting political on awards has been going on since the dawn of time and will never end, especially with this corrupter in chief at the helm. As for the awards themselves, crime of all crimes, I skipped it. After last years fiasco with that host making a fool of himself prior to his career being flushed down the sewer, I had 0 interest. |
