That's pretty standard. Having been in the Tony press room a number of years, I can tell you that the winners are escorted to the press room, where they take questions for several minutes, and then return to their seats. In his backstage session, the ever-eloquent Andrew Garfield even talks about wanting to get back to the auditorium, so he can support his fellow company members from ''Angels.'' Class act. (And when Nathan Lane won his Tony and mentioned ''the magnificent Andrew Garfield'' in his speech, there was a cutaway shot to his smiling co-star.)
