I am seeing it tomorrow night and will report back. I bought tickets after seeing Love speak at the Schomburg with Tarell Alvin McCraney (who is indisputably brilliant and generous) last month as I was unfamiliar with his work but found him to be sharp, witty, and incisive. I knew and admired McCraney, but was pleased to be introduced to Love.
This was one of my favorite talks I've been to in a long time: The Schomburg has some of the best programming in the city and they always get very thoughtful moderators. Excited for the first show in this trilogy! |
