| He wanted to sell tickets and he got me to buy one. I had no intention of seeing this revival. I thought this dance number and Bruce Springsteen's emotionally rich and beautifully written piano speaking were the only two surprising moments in the entire broadcast and it made me want to see both shows. The number has some of the most imaginative and exciting choreography I've seen in a long time. I don't need to hear You'll Never Walk Alone for the umpteenth time, the entire Tony broadcast was already too unbearably white bread for me. |
