Thanks again! The worsening view is probably why there are so many side-but-close seats available! I'm glad it was comfortable. I read that they have big fans to try to keep a breeze going. I think it's supposed to be a little bit hotter but still not raining when I go tomorrow.
Weird that they took out Comedy Tonight and the Gypsy number. Those are probably two of the more well-known numbers, although they are not dance-heavy and maybe wouldn't project as well to a distant audience.
Looking at the songlist, I've seen On the Town, West Side Story, The King and I, and Fiddler in their recent Broadway revivals. I am not sure how faithful any of them were to the original Robbins choreography. It will be interesting to see if they are similar or different. |
