It eventually made it but I always wondered why it didn't move uptown back in the day. Especially since some of those years were pretty bad Tony wise. Little Shop could have been a prime player. (plus it was way downtown. I never saw the original because my parents didn't want to go all the way to Second Ave.----not sure what that neighborhood was like back than but they didn't want to go.)
