| All the stories were part of his comedy routine. Killing Lee Strasberg, bedeviling Joe Papp, being presented in the hallway at American Place. It’s too bad he was taken literally. His whole shtick is exaggerating incidents from his life and putting a comic spin on them. As you acknowledge, he wrote the preface to your book. Comedians use everything when crafting a routine. |
