Charlie Chaplin in the Chaplin that didn't reach Broadway in 1983 and the entirely different Chaplin that did reach Broadway in 2012, and probably several others I'm not recalling at the moment.
Someone below mentioned King Arthur et al in Camelot and Spamalot. Some of those characters also appear in A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court and Merlin.
Jacqueline Kennedy was in the play Jackie: An American Life and the musical Grey Gardens. |
