Cyprus Avenue at the Public

An absurdist play about racism and bigotry. Good performances but ultimately somewhat of a bore. I prefer my absurdist plays on the comedic side (Ionesco et al). Be forewarned that the play is VERY violent . It was apparently quite a success in England and at The Abbey theater but it doesn't transfer all that well.
