I saw the show this week as well, and while I had mixed feelings about it, I mostly appreciated having the opportunity to see this historically important play. Somehow, I had never heard of the play, despite being in my 40s and having seen a lot of theater over the years.

If there was anything that made me enjoy the play a bit less, it was being crammed into a theater seat for two hours, with no opportunity to stand and stretch my legs. For me, it is not about the bathroom -- I have been to plenty of movies that are longer. But movie theater seats are comfortable. By the 90 minute mark I was feeling so cramped that I could not wait for the play to end. An intermission definitely would have helped with that (or, heaven forbid, giving us more room for our legs and shoulders). Two hours is just too long for a single sit in these theaters. (In comparison, I thought "Angels in America" timed its intermissions just right.)
