Again, the point is made more than once in the play that Michael is living way beyond his means, on credit. So I assume that applies to the furnishings and decor of his apartment as well as to his designer sweater collection :-)
Which is not to say I liked the set design for the current production. I found it so unrealistic as to be rather distracting. |
