Fred Ebb wrote both! He wrote the novelty song Sara Lee, with John Kander, for Kaye Ballard. Later, Liza Minnelli sang it regularly.
He also wrote the lyrics for the Sara Lee jingle, with the music written by Mitch Leigh, future composer of Man of La Mancha. |
