I have never been in an audience that was so silent. Mulligan does not strike one false note. I am curious though how the play picked up 15 minutes between London and New York. All the London reviews indicate the length as 90 minutes, but it was 105 minutes here. I doubt that they did it by slowing down the speech because I found it still quite rapid, especially considering her accent.
