This isn't a response or a comment about the above post, but it's interesting to note that the Royal Court, where G&B was performed in London, have a specific policy regarding trigger warnings. They have a blanket rule not to include any, lest it reveal too much about a production. However, every production page has a note that actively encourage patrons to get in touch if they have any concerns about particular issues or themes and would like to discuss them beforehand. I'm not aware of any other London theatres (or anywhere else, for that matter) that have a specific - and laudable - TW policy such as this.
