| Marin theater company (san fran north bay) is producing this play. I was a litfle confused why "people in charge" are necessary and i first thought it was a pre-show talk for subscription base theater, but finally caught on that it was part of the show. I just don't see 40 something brothers goofing around like these guys do. and the final decisions made really werent believable. I did have a hard time with armie hammer passing as early 20s in call me by your name, but now he has to play mid40s. Spoilers I assume matt acknowledging the presence of person in charge at the end is in the script (unlike the current ending in my fair lady). Why? Im sure some saw this at steppenwolf last year. I get the white privilege upbringing also has the baggage that one is required to succeed and nomexcuse to waste talent and be a bum, but i still dont get the person in charge roles. Talk about boring job to watch that show every night and look interested--now that is acting. |
