I think the reason this is discussed is that they were terribly attracted to one another. That may have not been evident from certain seats or if you're not good at reading emotional cues. The thing is, making it more obvious is something the characters would never do, so it's hard to imagine how it might be made more apparent.
I saw a show not long ago, I forget which, where I totally misread a scene that turned out to be the lynchpin of the show. The person I was with was very kind in explaining that scene. I think everyone misses something some times. |
