This tragicomedy starring the trans actor follows their life through the laughs and tears, and a offers a unique perspective on personhood. Blackwell uses laughter to breach the touchy subject of trans issues and gender identity. Blackwell’s initial run at Joe’s Pub in February was sold out, and was hailed as “Brilliant and Ballsy” by Time Out New York.
