Ryan Murphy's new TV series, set in 1980s New York, offers a groundbreaking showcase for trans performers.
Of the five, Dominique Jackson steals the show as Electra, sassily sashaying in a world of incredible costume balls.
Also in the cast: Tony winner Billy Porter (''Kinky Boots'') and Tony nominee Charlayne Woodard (''Ain't Misbehavin' '').
And Peppermint will soon make history as the first trans artist to originate a principal Broadway role in ''Head Over Heels.''
Peppermint (from ''RuPaul's Drag Race'') plays Pythio in this GoGo's musical, which begins previews on June 23.
