I saw THE BOYS IN THE BAND tonight and had a great time. I have some nits to pick about changes in the text here and there, and not all of the performances (most notably Jim Parsons') cut as deeply as they might. But this is well worth a visit.
It was great to hear the reports about how well standby Matt McGrath did a week or two ago, when Jim Parsons had his injury. (The reports were very credible -- McGrath's a terrific actor.) But McGrath's no longer the standby of record in the program -- David Turner is. Anybody know what happened? |
