the talent involved. A Tony winning director choreographer and a two time Pulitzer Prize winning writer. A woman of color. It will be interesting to see how Lynn Nottage portrays Jackson. A little lost lamb? A victim of show biz circumstances? Will she be hamstrung by the notoriously protective Jackson family? Will his trials for pedophilia even be mentioned? There are issues here, and a real writer and has been hired. Maybe it will just be a "celebration" or maybe it will be something more. JERSEY BOYS, which dealt with crime, drug overdoses and other difficult matters, proved that a jukebox musical can have gravitas. It might be interesting to wait see what she comes up. But I guess not so much for some folks on this board.
