Wicked aficionados will remember Bell Chait as the first Glinda understudy on Broadway. For a long while, Bell Chait was one of Broadway’s busiest and most recognizable gypsies. During her run in Wicked, she suffered an extremely unexpected stroke. Articles on Playbill and other theatre news sites reported that doctors expected her to make a full recovery and return to Wicked in a matter of weeks. I’m not certain that she ever did, and she has not accrued another Broadway credit since.
Does anyone have an update on this multitalented lady? |
