The biopic is called ''Rocketman,'' starring Taron Egerton as the Grammy-winning pop star (and Tony winner of ''Aida'').
Elton and Bernie collaborated on over 30 albums, co-writing many songs, such as ''Rocketman'' (and the musical of ''Lestat'').
The movie's screenplay will be by Lee Hall, who wrote the original ''Billy Elliot'' movie and won a Tony for the musical. |
