| According to their website, Michael is indeed in the production, but it’s unclear to what extent. I’m surprised permission was given to make such a huge change, if it is indeed true. Sadly, though, Hungary has been explained to me by friends who have lived there as a deeply homophobic country. Budapest (and all of Hungary) has had quite a vibrant musical theatre scene for decades, and I feel for the artists who may be affected by this, and future, censorship. |
