I've been doing some research on Kurt Well. I've learned that in the 1948 musical Love Life that he wrote with Alan Jay Lerner, there was a song called "I Remember It Well." This was about nine years before Lerner and Loewe had a song with the same exact title for the film Gigi.
Does anybody know about the earlier song? Were the lyrics at all similar?
