| Yes, ticket prices are going up all the time. But, if the rest of Mean Girls is anything like the number presented on the Tony Award show a few weeks ago, how sad. The number was very amateurish (acting, singing and dancing) and not at a level that is expected on a Broadway stage. | |

| Ticket prices have gone up sharply over the past decade. Jersey Boys opened in that theater in 2005 in a very different pricing environment. The only other shows that have been in there since then are Groundhog Day and Home for the Holidays. Mean Girls setting records isn’t all that impressive. | |

| I don't get it. Didn't other people see the same vapid, overblown mess of a number on the Tonys? | |

| When they state these facts I would love to see old shows adjusted for inflation. These box office records mean nothing in the long run as inflation and continuous rising prices will almost see the records broken over and over and over. | |

| Yes but people have to be willing to pay the inflated prices to set the records so I still think it's impressive. | |
