Just got home. Overall they did a very good job. I seem to be in the minority as I think too many close ups but others around us were saying that is what they liked. Very happy to be able to see it again.

Is the sound issue volume, or blend of ensemble/soloists and orchestra? This show always had a challenge in that area, since 1/4 of the instruments are played inside the story, mixed with the pit band at the sound board. Is that the reaction, or is it simply too softly presented/set in the video?

I tend to find the sound too soft in traditional filmed musicals, i.e. "Mama Mia," "Rent," "Evita" (especially). Old enough to remember when "Tommy" was at least a roof raiser.
