If you're asking what it was like:

This was a four-character play. Reeder lived with a younger boyfriend, who had one of those
two-part southern names, like Tommy Lee. He (I think; my memory's hazy after all these
years) went on a trip. Then Kliban showed up, as Reeder's old Army buddy (or something like that). Kilban's character
was either closeted, bi, or some new variation, but he and Reeder got very friendly, though after it Kliban was in denial.

Or he said it didn't matter, because sex. Then he departed and the boyfriend came back. Kisses. Now and then the
character of a bitchy neighbor came in to pass campy remarks about life's rich pageant. You could liken it to the
ancient Greek stage, after Euripides had introduced the fourth actor.

The idea was to explore the question implied in the title ("What are little boys made of?), in the sense of "What is
male sexuality made of?" There were a number of gay-themed plays on off-Broadway at the time, and they usually
featured nudity and ran sexy ads in the paper all through their preview period. Then they would open, get
unencouraging reviews, and more or less promptly close.
